Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of fuzzy variational like inequalities and to study the existence problem and the iterative approximation problem for solutions of certain kinds of fuzzy variational like inequalities in Hilbert spaces. By using the general auxiliary principle technique, Ky Fan's KKM theorem, Nadler's fixed point theorem, and some new analytic techniques, some existence theorems and some iterative approximation schemes for solving this kind of fuzzy variational like inequalities are established. The results presented in this paper are new and they generalize, improve, and unify a number of recent results.

We first give some fixed point results for setvalued selfmap contractions in complete metric spaces. Then we derive a fixed point theorem for nonself setvalued contractions which are metrically inward. Our results generalize many wellknown results in the literature.

Abstract:
The software process landscape is rich in complexity and many alternative software development approaches have emerged over the past 40 years. However, no single software development approach is universally implemented and it seems likely that no single approach can be universally useful. One of the primary reasons that no single approach is universally useful is that no two software development settings are identical. We have assembled a team of recognized academics, who together with industrial collaborators, plan to map the complex world of software processes with the context of software development projects. The results of our initial mapping efforts, reported in this paper, demonstrate that although there are challenges in an undertaking such as this, the outcomes are potentially of considerable value to both software researchers and practitioners.

Let T : X &gt; X be a given operator and FT be the set of its fixed points. For a certain function phi : X &gt; [0,infinity), we say that FT is phiadmissible if FT is nonempty and FT subset of Z(phi), where Z(phi) is the zero set of phi. In this paper, we study the phiadmissibility of a new class of operators. As applications, we establish a new homotopy result and we obtain a partial metric version of the BoydWong fixed point theorem.

Abstract:
Given a Banach space E and positive integers k and l we investigate the smallest constant C that satisfies parallel to P parallel to parallel to Q parallel to <= C parallel to PQ parallel to for all khomogeneous polynomials P and lhomogeneous polynomials Q on E. Our estimates are obtained using multilinear maps, the principle of local reflexivity and ideas from the geometry of Banach spaces (type and uniform convexity). We also examine the analogous problem for general polynomials on Banach spaces.
