Aspects of linguistic organisation : evidence from lexical processing L1-L2 translation
Herwig, Anne
THESIS 6530 The present study deals with the linguistic behaviour of second language learners in the performance of L1-L2 translation. It is concerned with aspects of productive processing in the light of the cognitive structures underlying language use. Its purpose is twofold: it sets out to develop a formal model of lexical knowledge organisation that is at the same time psycholinguistically explicit and neurolinguistically plausible, and it investigates a range of specific aspects of lexical organisation on the basis of L2 production data.
