In response to the concern voiced in the directive "Planning for the Future" INCA took the decision to hold a national conference, the theme being : "Alcohol. Preventing the Harm - Towards a National Policy," With our choice of speakers from various disciplines, and their wide practical experience and knowledge, we hoped to bring to attention the areas that needed to be emphasised in order to formulate a comprehensive and effective national policy on alcohol.
